Join us for a panel discussion on Tuesday 8th October

TORONTO: Egale Canada Human Rights Trust (ECHRT) will host the only Toronto stop of the world-class exhibition Nazi Persecution of Homosexuals: 1933-1945 from October 2 – 8 at the Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre (MNjcc).

On loan from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C., this exhibition recounts this dark period in history where thousands of homosexuals perished at the hands of the Nazis. Through photographs, reproduced documents and archival material, this free exhibition examines the Nazi regime’s attempt to eradicate homosexuality, explores why homosexual behavior was identified as a danger to society and sheds light on a group of victims that are often overlooked in history books.

ECHRT is touring the exhibition to three Canadian cities: Winnipeg, Toronto and Vancouver.
