Hi friends, we’re introducing a new volunteer database and a new way to manage our volunteer opportunities by using the web platform Kindness Connect, a volunteer management solution that provides an interactive way to engage with volunteers and manage scheduling for volunteer opportunities and shifts.
When creating a profile you are able to log your capabilities and experience as well as how many hours you have volunteered and where. You can also detail your interests and upload your resume and a police reference check.
In order to stay up to date on which volunteer opportunities we have available favourite our page below.
- In order to receive updates and apply to volunteer opportunities, you must create a personal volunteer account within Kindness Connect. You can sign up in 4 easy steps shown below and you can update your profile at any time.
- If you try to apply without a volunteer profile you will see an error message saying “Whooospies! We’re sorry, only users with a volunteer account can apply to opportunities”.
- Simply click ‘Continue’ and follow these four easy steps to create your account (link to how to)
