Position Description

Research Assistant – 1 position*

  • Assist Egale’s Research Department on a variety of ongoing projects including 2SLGBTQI health and mental health, aging, employment, and more.
  • Assist in a variety of activities such as conducting literature reviews and scans, report writing, qualitative and/or quantitative data analysis support, transcription, and more.

Communications Specialist – 1 position*

  • Content writing and copy editing (social, web, newsletters, reports).
  • WordPress/website content updates.
  • Google Analytics monitoring and reporting.
  • Coordinating outreach efforts with community.

*FILLED* Project Administration Officer – 1 position

  • Project Planning to define project scope to maintain project charters and other project documentation.
  • Coordinate resources and activities.
  • Work with project leads from all departments to coordinate program and event logistics.
  • Assist with evaluation and reporting.
  • Monitor project tasks and timelines.
  • Document standard project management procedures and contribute to internal process improvement.
  • Lead special projects.
  • Analyze risks and opportunities.
  • Facilitate meetings; prepare agendas and minutes.
  • Plan and conduct stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Project Administration Officer

  • Assist Director of International Projects and Partnerships in programmatic and partnership work with civil society partners in Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean.
  • Provide relationship-building support with ongoing partners.
  • Conduct needs assessment with potential new partners.
  • Identifying potential sources of support for partner organizations.

Finance Officer – 1 position

  • Support all finance activities for the execution of projects.
  • Assist with tracking expenses and purchases for projects.
  • Complete financial admin tasks such as data entry, filing, etc.
  • Conduct quality assurance activities pertaining to event expenses, ensuring financial reporting accuracy, correcting expense allocations as necessary etc.
  • Provide support to the Finance and Admin team with tasks as necessary.
  • Other duties, as directed, for the delivery of the department’s strategic priorities and/or to meet key deadlines.

Human Resources Policy Officer – 1 position

The Policy Officer will have the opportunity to work closely with the HR Team, particularly the Senior HR Officer, to explore the process of organizational, not-for-profit policy writing from start to finish.
The process and duties will include:

  • Learning about the structure and purpose of organizational policy.
  • Conducting policy research, writing, editing, and review.
  • Recording learning and reflections in a blog-style format for use in knowledge-mobilization products to be developed in the future by the 50-30 Project Team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Assistant, Educational – 1 position

  • Coordinate resources and activities.
  • Work with instructional designers and project manager from all departments to coordinate learning and project logistics.
  • Assist Learning Coordinator with bookings and admin tasks.
  • Review and provide input on 2SLGBTQI curriculum.
  • provide moderation during webinars.
  • Other duties as assigned.

*Bilingual (FR/EN) would be a strong asset for this role.
