"The doors represent the isolation of seniors, hidden and alone inside their homes, and the multiple demands faced by care providers who are required to visit many different clients within a tight time frame. The isolation and shortage of time can make understanding and communication difficult. In depicting my hope for the future of home care, I chose symbols of music — a treble clef and musical notes. Music can connect people across generations, backgrounds, race, and sexualities, providing a place for people to come together and celebrate one another. The hearts represent the love and joy that music fosters."
