Egale launches #EachforInclusion Awareness Campaign for International Women’s Day 2020

This International Women’s Day 2020, the global theme looks at how we can all work to create a gender equal world using the hashtag ‘Each for Equal’. The theme steps outside of the cis-gender binary, but there is still a need to call greater attention to the gender minorities, and women gender minorities to whom this day also belongs. That is what our new campaign, #EachforInclusion aims to achieve. 

The #EachforInclusion campaign strives to emphasize the need to include gender minorities in conversations and celebrations of women’s rights, feminism, and gender equality. Through the campaign we are encouraging people to share share success stories, continued struggles, and ways to support inclusion of gender minorities and women gender minorities.

The #EachforInclusion campaign aims to broaden the dialogue of gender equality in a way that supports cis-women, trans women (and trans men), non-binary people, Two Spirit people, as well as gender-fluid, gender non-conforming and gender-diverse folks.

We support #EachforEqual as the theme for International Women’s Day 2020. To achieve true gender equality #EachforEqual also means #EachforInclusion.
