2SLGBTQI Casting Call

Egale Canada Public Service Announcement in Toronto

This is a campaign to show how members of the 2SLGBTQI community are still targets of hate, for simply existing. The campaign is designed to drive people to a one-stop shop to learn how to fight hate.

For each scenario we’re shooting, we’ll see a member (or members) of the 2SLGBTQI community being harassed or attacked by strangers. 

For the victim roles, we’re looking for members of the 2SLGBTQI community who identify as gay, lesbian, or trans. Ages 20 to 60. 

Deadline to submit, ASAP or before May 22, 2025 at 11am ET.

Must be available for these dates in Toronto:

  • Wardrobe: May 28th, 2025.
  • Shoot Date: May 29th, 2025.

This is a non union public service announcement – All Fees Waived but we are offering a $100 honorarium and a $75 fitting for those who are selected to appear in this campaign.

  1. Introduce yourself.
  2. ACTIONS
  • look scared, alarmed, protecting yourself 
  • and then separately to a calm resolve once the situation has calmed down and you’ve been helped.
