2025 Law Firm Fundraising Challenge

Across Canada, we are witnessing an alarming and exponential rise in anti-2SLGBTQI hate, disinformation, and coordinated movements aimed at rolling back decades of progress. From targeted protests and discriminatory legislation to online harassment and violence, these attacks are not isolated, but part of a broader campaign to erode equality and human rights in our country. 2SLGBTQI communities, our rights, and our hard-won freedoms are under threat.  

Our annual Law Firm Challenge is a powerful way for the legal sector to respond through meaningful action. 

Thanks to your leadership and generosity, the 2025 Law Firm Challenge raised over $93,000 in support of Egale’s legal advocacy work to advance and protect 2SLGBTQI rights across the country. 

This year, we were blown away by your incredible show of solidarity and creativity in fundraising. From panel discussions, beer-tasting events, step challenges, to karaoke parties, your participation and commitment to protecting 2SLGBTQI communities was so inspiring.
