Are LGBTQI2S Organizations on the Radar?

The Government of Canada’s recently announced a $350M Emergency Community Support Fund as one of the rapid responses to COVID-19.

In an effort to track the rate of approval for applications that are focussed on support for the LGBTQI2S community, please complete this brief survey. The results will provide us with information to advocate for our community with the federal government and determine the success/decline ratio once decisions have been made.

  • LGBTQI2S people, communities, and the organizations who serve them continue to be disproportionately impacted by COVID-19. More than 50% of LGBTQI2S people in Canada are facing financial loss and job loss. More are struggling with mental health, physical health, homelessness and social isolation. Learn More

  • The national intermediary organizations will disburse funds to local community-based organizations working with vulnerable populations, including seniors, persons with disabilities, members of LGBTQ2 communities, veterans, newcomers, women, children and youth, and members of Indigenous communities and racialized communities, such as Black Canadians.
