Sponsor an Equity and Inclusive Education Resource Kit for a school near you!
- Are you interested in helping to make Canadian schools safer, accepting and more inclusive for all youth, including those who identify as LGBTQ or have LGBTQ family members?
- Have you ever wanted to make a concrete difference in your local school communities?
- Would you like to sponsor an invaluable resource to your children’s, friends’, niece’s or nephew’s school?
Now’s your chance! Do your part by sending an Equity and Inclusive Education Resource Kit to your local high school or to a school that needs it the most.
Currently, the Kit is only available for Ontario high schools; however, Egale is working hard to expand the reach of this exciting new resource across the country. You can help by making a one-time donation to support this essential project.
What’s an Equity and Inclusive Education Resource Kit?
The Equity and Inclusive Education Resource Kit is your go-to source for materials for creating and maintaining safer and more LGBTQ-inclusive school communities. This foundational resource contains specific sections with information tailored to youth, educators, guidance counsellors, and administrators in secondary schools as well as extensive directories and references relating to role models, symbols, terms and concepts, community services, and more!
How can I support?
Your support is integral to creating safer school communities across Canada. With a donation of $100, you can do your part to ensure that your local school community gains access to this valuable resource. Maybe you’d like us to send a Kit to your old high school to help make it a safer and more inclusive space. Or maybe you’d rather help send a Kit to a school that needs it the most. Either way, your support means at least one more school will have the tools they need to tackle the homophobia, transphobia, and biphobia that is endemic in our school systems.
