Role Summary
Egale Canada is seeking an experienced Senior Communications Officer to join our Communications and Marketing Department.
Reporting to the Manager, Communications, this new position leads the development, implementation, and coordination (with both internal departments and external stakeholders) of various awareness and fundraising campaigns, as well as other initiatives, ensuring consistent and aligned messaging for a variety of audiences (schools, workplaces, community, etc.) across Egale’s platforms (web, social, newsletter, etc.).
The successful candidate will be a key contributor to the Marketing and Communications team and the organization more broadly through the development and implementation of corporate communications and media relations strategies ensuring consistent messaging across Egale’s core pillars of work (Research, Awareness, Education and Legal Advocacy) positioning Egale as Canada’s leading organization for 2SLGBTQI people and issues.
